Southern Driving Instructors Association, he Southern Driving Instructor Association (SDIA) was formally established on 1st March 2010, following an initial meeting on 13th October 2009. SDIA is affiliated to the DIA.

The nature of Driving Instruction as a profession means that the vast majority of ADI’s work in a relatively isolated environment. This makes it difficult to maintain up-to-date knowledge; the recent focus on CPD means that there is an ever-increasing need for improvements in communication that allows the ADI/ PDI to gain the ongoing training they require.

Comments from an SDIA member … “I really enjoy belonging to the SDIA. I enjoy the support SDIA provide and the committee’s dedication to arrange interesting speakers and organising worthwhile courses, so a big thank you.”
